About
The Heart of Brisson Law Group: Legacy Planning with Purpose
At Brisson Law Group, we believe estate planning is about more than just distributing assets—it’s about protecting a lifetime of stories, values, and family harmony. Founded by Timothy Brisson in 2017, our firm was built on the principle that every Auburn family deserves a "Legacy Plan" that is as precise as it is compassionate.
Technical Precision Meets Human Compassion
Timothy Brisson brings a unique, dual-lens perspective to the law that few estate planners possess.
The Precision of a Specialist: With nearly 25 years of legal experience, Tim’s background includes extensive work in Intellectual Property and licensure before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). While he now focuses exclusively on Legacy Planning, that "IP-level" attention to detail ensures that every trust and will he drafts is technically sound and built to withstand the complexities of California law.
The Heart of a Chaplain: Beyond the courtroom, Tim is a dedicated Substance Abuse Recovery Pastor and a Law Enforcement Chaplain serving first responders in the Auburn and Placer County areas. This experience in crisis management and spiritual guidance allows him to navigate the sensitive, often emotional family dynamics that arise during the estate planning process.
Serving the Auburn & Placer County Communities
As a local practitioner, Tim is deeply invested in the health and future of our community. Whether he is leading the 180 Church Recovery & Restoration ministry or drafting a complex living trust for a local homeowner, his mission remains the same: providing clarity in the midst of confusion.
